Fees schedule and billing policy

From 1 January 2026, Carnarvon Medical Centre will be transitioning to a bulk billing practice.
This means eligible patients with a valid Medicare card will have standard GP consultations bulk billed to Medicare.

Please be aware that fees will still apply for patients without a valid Medicare card, and for certain services such as medicals, and other non-Medicare items.
If you are an overseas person there is a fee of $170.00

If you have a concern, we would like to hear about it. Please feel free to speak to your doctor or to the Practice Manager. If you would like to write of your concerns, please write to the practice manager at our address.

You can book phone consults if you are a regular patient and only for results or a short consult, such as a repeat script.

The doctors in this practice will not do an email consults. You can email information to us at reception@carnarvonmedical.com.au , this will be printed out and scanned into your file for your doctor to review. Please not that the email is only checked every few hours, so anything urgent please ring us on 9941 1149.
